This recipe was a game changer for me! As long as I remembered to let the whole chicken defrost for the day or buy one fresh, it saved a bunch of time for me!

First off you’ll need to have the Tupperware Stack Cooker in order to do this. It is a product specially designed for quick cooking in the microwave. You can make cakes, whole dinners, desserts and snacks in this hand little guy, so it’s definitely worth taking a look at.

WholeChicken

Ingredients:

One whole chicken. I used a 3-4lb chicken.

Seasoning – This is where you can get creative. Poultry spice, Steak and Chop Seasoning, Southwest Chipotle, Garlic Powder… it’s totally up to you! Choose what you like!

One Onion

Minced Garlic.

 

Instructions:

Defrost your chicken in the fridge. If using a fresh chicken, just leave it in the fridge until you’re ready to go!

Cut up onion into chunks and mix with minced garlic and the seasoning blend of your choice.

Stuff the mixture into your chicken. Make sure that contents, such as neck and heart have been removed before stuffing the chicken.

Place the chicken into the Stack Cooker. Season the chicken again on the outside.

Place the cover on the Stack Cooker, and place in the microwave. Set the microwave to 70% ( I have a 1200W microwave) and cook for 25 minutes.

When it’s done, it will look like this. Remove from the Stack Cooker and place the chicken on a plate to let the juices drain.

Carve the chicken and enjoy!
